A casino on your home screen is always one tap away — which is exactly why it needs limits. Set a deposit limit in your Bizzo profile, add a daily time limit for the app with Screen Time (iPhone) or Digital Wellbeing (Android), and if gambling stops being fun, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 — free, confidential, 24/7.
Use your phone's own limits
Your phone can cap how long you spend in the Bizzo app, independent of the casino.
iPhone: Screen Time
Settings → Screen Time → App Limits → Add Limit. Web apps on the home screen can be limited through the Websites or specific app entry. Set a passcode someone else holds if you want it to stick.
Android: Digital Wellbeing
Settings → Digital Wellbeing → Dashboard → choose Chrome or the Bizzo app → App timer. When the timer runs out, the app is paused for the day.
Tools inside your Bizzo account
Deposit limits, cool-off breaks and self-exclusion are available from your profile or 24/7 live chat.
| Tool | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Deposit limit | You want a hard ceiling on what you can put in per day, week or month |
| Cool-off | You need a short break — a day to a few weeks |
| Self-exclusion | You want to stop for months or longer; it can't be undone early |
| Account closure | You're done for good — ask support and mention gambling harm |
Habits that help
Small frictions make impulsive play much less likely.
- Move the Bizzo icon off your first screen or into a folder
- Turn off Bizzo notifications completely
- Don't save a card — typing details each time is a useful pause
- Never play to win back losses, and never with money meant for bills
Signs it's time to stop
Reaching for the app when you're stressed, bored or can't sleep is an early warning sign.
- Opening the app without deciding to
- Spending more than you planned, more often
- Hiding play or losses from people close to you
- Borrowing or using bill money to deposit
Block gambling across your devices
Removing one icon won't stop you reinstalling it. Blocking software and bank blocks work across every site and app.
- Gamban and BetBlocker — block gambling sites and apps on phones and computers
- Bank gambling blocks — most Australian banking apps can block gambling transactions on your card
- BetStop — the national self-exclusion register for licensed Australian wagering providers (betstop.gov.au)
